The European Commission released an updated agenda for an EU Health Policy Platform Live Webinar held on 6 February 2026, dedicated to the presentation of the European Cancer Inequalities Registry’s 2026 analytical cancer report. The webinar explored differences in cancer incidence, access to care, and outcomes across EU Member States, using registry data to support evidence based policymaking.

Reducing Inequalities

Participants discussed structural gaps, national variations, and strategies to reduce inequalities through targeted prevention, early detection, and health system reforms. The event followed World Cancer Day activities and reinforces the importance of data driven approaches to improving equity and effectiveness in cancer control policies.
