The German Cancer Congress

The German Cancer Congress is the largest cancer conference in the German-speaking region and took place in Berlin from February 18 to 21, 2026.

 

The Robert Koch Institute

The Robert Koch Institute, as the competent authority for Germany for EUCanScreen, participated in the scientific program with two presentations and was given the opportunity to present the Joint Action at the congress:

  • Hella Fügemann presented the objectives and overarching activities of EUCanScreen, focusing in particular on German participation in various work packages. (Download the Presentation)
  • Klaus Kraywinkel compared published data from the cervical cancer screening programs in the Netherlands and Germany focusing on expenditures and outcomes. (Download the Presentation)
