Voices from EUCanScreen: Leaders Share the Vision for Cancer Screening

Voices from EUCanScreen WP Leaders Share the Vision Behind Europe Cancer Screening Efforts

New video interviews recorded in Bled highlight the people, priorities and collaborative work driving the Joint Action forward

On the occasion of the EUCanScreen Consortium Event held in Bled on March 2026, ProMIS recorded a series of video interviews with the Work Package (WP) leaders of the Joint Action, with the aim of giving visibility to the different areas of work developed within the project and offering a direct insight into the ongoing activities across Europe.

Expert Voices on Cancer Screening and Prevention

The interviews bring together the voices of some of the leading European professionals involved in cancer screening and prevention, who are actively contributing to the implementation of EUCanScreen. Through their testimonies, the videos provide an opportunity to better understand the objectives, priorities and expected impact of the various Work Packages, while also highlighting the strong collaborative dimension that characterises the Joint Action.

Designed in a concise and engaging format, the interviews focus not only on the technical and organisational aspects of the project, but also on the shared vision underpinning EUCanScreen: strengthening cancer prevention and improving the quality, accessibility and effectiveness of screening programmes across Europe.

Engaging Stakeholders Through Direct Dialogue

By giving voice directly to the experts leading the activities, the initiative aims to make the project’s content more accessible and understandable for a wider audience.

A key target of this initiative is represented by the stakeholders involved in and connected to the Joint Action. Stakeholder engagement plays a crucial role in the success and long-term impact of EUCanScreen. Through these video interviews, stakeholders will have the opportunity to closely follow the challenges and progress of the project, gain a clearer understanding of the activities being implemented and stay informed about the emerging results and achievements.

Ensuring active stakeholder engagement is essential not only to strengthen awareness around the project, but also to encourage the use and dissemination of the knowledge, tools and outcomes generated within EUCanScreen. In addition, informed and engaged stakeholders can play an important role in supporting evidence-based policy choices and contributing to the broader uptake of innovative approaches to cancer screening at national and European level.

Aligned with EUCanScreen’s Communication Strategy

The initiative is fully aligned with EUCanScreen’s communication strategy and contributes to showcasing the added value of the Joint Action and the collaboration among partner countries. Through the voices and experiences of the WP leaders, the videos reflect the project’s shared journey and common commitment to advancing cancer prevention policies and practices across Europe.

Coming Soon: Interviews on the EUCanScreen Website

The video interviews will soon be available on the EUCanScreen website and on the project’s social media channels, helping to further amplify the visibility of the Joint Action and foster dialogue with the wider community of stakeholders and professionals engaged in cancer screening.
