As Secretary Generals of the International Association of Surgeons Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (IASGO) and the also on behalf of the Belgrade Southeast Europe IASGO Regional Chapter (IASGO-SERC), we are truly delighted to welcome you, along with Congress President Prof. Aleksandar Karamarković, to the 36th Anniversary World Congress of the IASGO, which will take place on September 17-19, 2025. in Belgrade, Serbia.

As we always firmly believed and made it our mission, that IASGO up-to-date medical knowledge and expertise could and should benefit all communities worldwide and should be made available beyond any discrimination to every patient suffering from difficult-to-treat and life-threatening diseases. 

IASGO’s leadership strives to implement this vision through a well-structured educational program to promote multi-disciplinary, collaborative approaches to treating intractable diseases. In this spirit, embedded in the 36^th Congress slogan, THE CROSSROADS OF HISTORY. THE POWER OF CHANGE, we look very much forward to meet you in beautiful Belgrade in September 2025.
