The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and the American Cancer Society (ACS) have officially launched The Cancer Atlas, Fourth Edition, a landmark publication designed to shape global strategies across the cancer control continuum.
This edition provides a comprehensive overview of the world’s evolving cancer burden, based on IARC’s robust data and research. It highlights proven and evidence-based interventions to prevent, detect, and control cancer globally.
🔬 According to IARC’s six decades of research, approximately half of all cancer cases are preventable — emphasizing the importance of:
