EUCanScreen in Its Second Year Key Dissemination Milestones and Initiatives

In the second year of the EUCanScreen project, DYPEDE as leader of WP2 Dissemination, highlighted key milestones and initiatives shaping the project’s second year of implementation. Following a successful first year, the Joint Action continues to advance evidence-based, high-quality, and equitable cancer screening programmes across Europe.

During the fourth semester of the EUCanScreen project, DYPEDE released its 1st press release by summarising the project’s latest activities and achievements, outlining progress in strengthening collaboration, developing common screening methodologies, supporting risk-based approaches, and improving capacity building and training activities across participating countries.

Also, a special series of interviews were conducted in collaboration with ProMIS during the Bled meeting with leading experts and partners from across Europe, including representatives from Latvia with Marcis Leja (LU), Finland with Tytti Sarkeala (CSF), France with Andre Carvalho (IARC-WHO), Italy with Carlo Senore (CPO), Norway with Mari Nygard, (NIPH), Poland with Jaroslaw Regula (MSCI) and Slovenia with Urska Ivanus (OI Ljubljana). Their perspectives provided valuable insight into the future of cancer screening, innovation, and international cooperation within EUCanScreen.

Finally, DYPEDE introduced the new “Meet the EUCanScreen People” campaign, designed to showcase the researchers, experts, and professionals behind the EUCanScreen project. Through personal stories and spotlight features, the campaign aims to strengthen engagement, highlight the diversity of expertise within the consortium, and create stronger connections with audiences across social media platforms.
